SPORTS PERFORMANCE
Sports performance coaching is a specialised area that focuses on helping athletes and sports professionals enhance their performance, achieve their goals, and reach their full potential in their respective sports. As a specialist coach, I work losely with athletes to improve their mental, emotional, and physical skills and overall wellbeing to optimise their athletic performance.
For the last 25 years, I’ve worked with Elite sports players, like Pro Footballers, NBA players and World Champions in disciplines like Bodybuilding, Boxing, Aikido, and Jiu-jitsu. However, my services are not limited to professional athletes; they can also benefit amateur athletes, youth athletes, and individuals engaged in recreational sports. I always tailor my approach to each individual’s needs and goals, providing personalised guidance and support.
The winner mindset
One of the primary goals of my sports performance coaching system is to develop a winning mindset and mental resilience. I will work with you to strengthen your cognitive skills, such as focus, confidence, motivation, and resilience, which are crucial for success in competitive sports. I can also help you to overcome performance anxieties, manage stress, and develop effective strategies for dealing with pressure and setbacks.
I will become a trusted partner who wants and expects the best from you and will challenge you to perform at your best.
We will be able to develop your roadmap to success from a holistic approach considering your physical and technical training commitments.
Key pillars for a high performace
- Diet
- Injury prevention
- Stretching and resting time
- Sleep patterns
- Jet lag and time zone management while travelling
- Personal and professional life balance
- Allocating education time in youth development
Being a sports player means being on a rollercoaster life. Indeed, the fear of injuries, the number of chemicals released during their training and competitions, the boost of testosterone and dopamine on the winnings, and the mental challenges during the downtime or at the end of their professional career make it hard for any athlete to stay grounded on their feet. I am entirely aware of it.
Moreover, during my extensive career, I have seen many athletes struggling with their mental health and having problems with their relationships because they couldn’t overcome their negative emotions and limiting beliefs.
